Best military watches 2015
Finding the most suitable definition for a military watch can be a difficult task. Maybe a few decades ago when the choice of watches was pretty limited you could easily tell one of the other, but today that is merely impossible. For me any watch that can sustain the conditions on the battlefield can be considered as a military watch. Based on this I have narrowed down my findings to five are the best military watches in 2015. Here is what I found.
Casio Men’s GA100-1A1
The first watch that I would like to present is Casio Men’s GA100-1A1. Casio for me has always been a symbol of resistance and toughness and that is precisely how I would describe this watch. This is a monster watch made of black resin with minimal details. It is the best g shock watch for military which apart from being shock resistant it is also water resistant for up to 660 feet. I would include this as one of the best tactical watches aswell. It has anti-magnetic structure and auto LED light that has afterglow so you shouldn’t worry about telling the time even when it’s dark. In addition this watch has full auto calendar which is pre-programed with all dates up until 2099. By then you would probably need to replace the watch so this shouldn’t be a problem for you. This watch shows the world time or more precisely it contains information for 29 different time zones so if you are traveling a lot you can easily tell the time in any part of the world. The time would swap once you set your home location and it will switch between the chosen time zones. It can easily be considered as the best watch for military due to the big number of features it offers.
Suunto Core Wrist-Top Computer
My next choice for the best military watch is something I am not really sure if it qualifies as a watch. Suunto Core Wrist-Top Computer, as the name itself implies is an entire computer contained in a small wrist watch. I am sure that many who have been in the army and have been exposed to difficult conditions would say that this is the best military watch. The design is pretty simple, all you see is a round case and a plan black band. But what’s inside the watch is what makes it so special. This watch has the option to show dual time, date, and to set the alarm. It has a countdown timer and can show you the time of the sunrise and sunset for more than 400 locations across the world. So when you are far from home you would still have an idea of what your loved ones are probably doing. In addition to these rather common features, the watch has altimeter, barometer, compass and depth meter for outdoor adventures, pretty much the whole package if you are asking me.
Readeel Stylish Silicone Sports Military Watch
Although there are only a few watches that would compete with the one I have previously mentioned still I feel obligated to show you other versions of what I consider to be the best military watches. Readeel® Stylish Silicone Sports Military Watch is a multifunctional watch with a design that screams – I am though, show me what you’ve got! The case is made of stainless steel with approximate diameter of 47 millimeters. It has two time displays, an analog and a digital one, an alarm clock and chronograph features. The hands and the markings are luminous for better view in areas that are not well-light. The dial window is made of Hardlex material for better protection during extreme conditions. The band is made of silicone and features a simple buckle clasp. The downside of this watch is that it is water resistant for only up to 99 feet so it’s not suitable for water adventures. However I still think it should be mentioned among the best military watches on ground.
Luminox Evo Navy Seal Blackout
Luminox Evo Navy Seal Blackout resembles some of the watches that already qualify for the best military watches for men. This watch has that rough exterior which is a common feature for most military watches. The case is made of molded fiberglass reinforced polymer injection with a diameter of 44 millimeters and thickness of 1.9 millimeters. I would say that this is somewhat a standard size for most military watches. The watch has analog display with three two toned hands and a date display on the three o’clock position. The dial is covered by a protective window made of strong mineral crystal that provides ultimate protection. The band is made of rubber with a buckle claps for easy handling. In addition it is water resistant up to 660 feet. The quality of the materials used to make this watch and its design make it perfect for the people who have unpredictable and rather dangerous jobs.
My final finding is something completely different which aims at showing you how versatile these military watches can be. Seiko SSC295P1 has found its place among the best military watches for men mainly because of the functionality and predominant green colour design. The case with a diameter of 42 millimeters is made of stainless steel. The dial is black with a lot of details that make it seem a bit hectic. Since the watch has chronograph features on the dial there are three sub-dials, an alarm and a date display on the three o’clock position. It is covered by a Hardlex crystal that enhances the endurance of the watch. This watch has a quartz mechanism which is empowered by solar energy. This way you don’t have to worry about the battery, as you don’t need one assuming you have enough light. It has chronograph features chronograph features, a compass or is made of high quality materials, but it is certainly the best military watch, as I would expect from Seiko.
